Cora G. Carleton Hillard, Unknown City: A champion of woman suffrage, she was influential in retaining the suffrage clause in the state’s Constitution during the Constitutional Convention of 1889. She was the first woman delegate to the Republican National Convention in Minneapolis in 1892.
